I received my training as an actor and singer at Northwestern University in Chicago, before spending my early career in New York and Los Angeles. I now have returned home to Chicago, where I live with my beautiful wife Jenna, daughter Presley, Boston terrier Rocket, and Chiweenie Nacho.
While living in New York, I was cast as Frankie Valli in the Musical Jersey Boys, which allowed me to tour all over the country. Truly a cultural phenomenon, this show allowed me to appear on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno, and eventually led to my co-creating the PBS vocal group, Under The Streetlamp. With this group, I helped produce 3 TV specials, one docu-series, and 4 albums (all available for streaming and download).
Other career highlights:
As Seymour and Audrey in Little Shop of Horrors, my wife and I performed for President Barack and Michelle Obama at the famous Ford's Theater in Washington DC.
Here in Chicago, I’ve been fortunate to work at theaters I used to dream about collaborating with: Chicago Shakespeare, Steppenwolf, and The Goodman Theatre to name just a few. In addition to that, you may have seen me on Chicago Med or in various local TV or internet commercials.
Additionally, I've been privileged to appear in concert at such historical and eclectic venues as the Greek Theater and L.A. Live in LA, Wolf Trap in DC, and B.B. King's in Times Square, NYC.
